Product design is part of what we do. This is a new knockbox prototype, still need to decide on what kind of material it will be made of, most likely plastic but it’s not final yet. When shopping for a knockbox finding one that will be easy to use and clean and also look good is a challenge. Another aspect would be the color space it takes. We try and take all that into consideration and come up with something that will look good and also be very functional. A few more photos of the process while making our recent #cremina project. If you scroll down on our profile you’ll see how the boiler was coded in insulation and that was removed. Really like how the brass and copper looks like even though you don’t see it unless you service the machine. in this version they also manufacture the boiler from five or six different pieces as you can see. In order to deliver the steam to the site glass, they actually drilled holes through the br...ass and then kept them with solder. Love how this machine turned out! We tried to keep everything original as much as possible except a couple things, 1. The feet broke so we 3D printed new ones with rubber inserts.... 2. The lever pins with screws instead of the clips, making it easier to work on in the future. This machine is stunning and it’s will be going back to its owner soon. It’s so nice to see a good design. The @elektra_coffeemachines Microcasa doesn’t follow the usual boxy contour and an E61 group head and get it over with. Here with the nice approach of a hybrid between a typical semi automatic heat exchanger design and some sort of a lever machine. On top of that it makes excellent espresso. Out with the old, in with the new. One of our recent customers came back with a different problem, quality we found the HE was bad and needed to be replaced. Lucky Stefano’s Espresso Care had one in Stock so we can fix it up ASAP. Something, before the HE goes bad, especially if there is a small crack in it, it starts to act weird

We just finished the repair on this lovely espresso machine, so happy to see it’s working again after the electrical system melted. @londiniumespresso make pretty cool machines, make sure to check them out!

We are absolutely happy with how this machine turned out after a complete rebuild off all the gaskets and new paint. Now all it needs is a new set of wood knobs to complete the prestige look

Another step in putting back together the custom GS3 Is installing the new steam liver kit and drilling the frame.
