Happy Birthday to the one and only Robert Hartmann! Never heard of our founding father? Prior to founding Levity Live, Robert began his career as a barback at the original Irvine IMPROV in the early 80’s. His endless hustle, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for standup, quickly propelled him through the ranks and soon he was overseeing all operations and booking for the IMPROV. Over the years, Robert and his partners built the largest network of comedy clubs in the worl...d, managed some of the most notable names in comedy, produced countless standup specials, and are responsible for some of the largest live comedy tours and festivals in history. Many of us wouldn’t have the opportunity to work in comedy today without Robert’s contributions to the art form. Robert- Your animated stories, unremitting positivity, and deep love for comedy inspires us to be our best every day. Thank you for your friendship, and for lighting a fire in all of us to continue connecting audiences around the world to the magic of live standup!
