OVparks Updates We are closely following official guidelines and health recommendations from Sacramento County Department of Health Services, California Department of Public Health, and the CDC. As of July 30, 2021 the District Office and our public buildings are open to the public during scheduled hours for programs, rentals, registrations and business. Visitors (which include guests, program participants, instructors, and rental groups) are required to wear face coverings ...indoors regardless of vaccination status. Our parks and outdoor facilities remain open to the public from dawn until dusk. Face coverings are no longer required when using our outdoor parks and facilities. Staff, volunteers, and visitors who are either ill or think they may be ill shall stay home and seek medical care. Staff and volunteers who have symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently had a close contact with a person with COVID-19 are also required to stay home and will be required to be tested for COVID-19 before returning to work. We continue to encourage our staff and visitors to use safe practices to avoid the spread of viruses, such as washing hands frequently, using hand sanitizer, and covering coughs and sneezes. Status of Recreational Programs The District staff has been working hard to get our programs open for the public. Most of our programs are currently open, or available for registration.
