Last weekend, one of our own participated in the 24th annual Bishop High Sierra Ultras. These pics are most of the trash that was picked up along the way (including a couple of AA batteries and a car part!). May not look like much neatly packed in a zip lock bag, but it’s a friendly reminder for us all to pack it in, pack it out and if you see a little corner of an energy gel package etc, take a second and pack that out, too! Sometimes these little things fall out of someone’s pocket by accident. A pat on the back to all who play a part (no matter how small) to keep the Eastern Sierra pristine! If you love scenic runs, be sure to put this one on your list! Next year it will be held on May 21st.

Street Food Popup: Steamed Pork Buns & Nasi Lemak! Steamed Pork Buns Chinese-style buns with traditional salty-sweet char siu filling. $5 for 2 large buns. Nasi Lemak Rice cooked with coconut milk and aromatic pandan leaves is served with cucumbers, peanuts, boiled egg, fried anchovies, and a homemade spicy-sweet-sour-funky sambal. This is the national dish of Malaysia, and it's super unique but also somehow instantly comforting. $13...
