Explore Borrego Springs Metal Art Sculptures Something more than desert wildflowers and the spectacular Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is attracting visitors to the Borrego Valley in Southern California. Box Canyon: Close to home and a great drive. Riverside County; 15 miles southeast of Indio, California. Painted Canyon Road provides four-wheel drive access at the intersection of State Highway 195 and the Coachella Canal.

Dinosaurs Still Roam These Parts Located 13 miles west of Palm Springs, the Cabazon Dinosaurs are a quirky roadside attraction that you may remember from Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure. Built by Claude K. Bell, a one-time Knott’s Berry Farm model sculptor, these two dinosaurs were intended to lure people to his restaurant. Now, they’re beacons to a creationist museum.

The annual PGA TOUR event held in La Quinta, California at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club will be played as scheduled and broadcast globally January 21-24. This year’s event will be played without ticketed spectators due to local health and safety regulations that restrict group gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
