With the Governor's latest Blueprint for a Safer Economy that lists theme parks on the closed list, it is with great sadness that we will not be able to hold this year's event on September 18th. If and when Six Flags Magic Mountain reopens this year, we'll see if there is a 2020 date that makes sense. Stay safe and healthy. We'll see you on thrill rides again soon!

1978: To a 12 year old this coaster was HUGE!! I remember my first ride thinking I was gonna die- climbing up that lift hill! That first drop! Colossus was big..., fast and frightening when it opened at Magic Mountain. I had just recovered after riding the Great American Revolution (my first looper) thinking I could now handle anything- and here comes Colossus!! Yes I was hooked and rode again and again!! #magicmountain #sixflagsmagicmountain
