For those of you who miss Excerpts, or wish to publicly eulogize Gabriel Garcia Marquez, please do come to Diesel Bookstore tonight at 7pm. Excerpts regular Brad Johnson started this event AND it's his birthday. Short passages of your favorite work and perhaps still a bottle of bourbon for those so inclined. I miss you all. Please come say hello.
Last Excerpts is one week away! Monday, December 9th at 8pm. Bring food, books and drink. Bring your own writing (post-Excerpts open mic for people to share their own work. Why not?) but keep Excerpts as is - five minute passages of your favorite literature. Please share this post!
