We love a road trip success story! Davis and Ann ran into a coolant issue 3 hours into their trip - thankfully they were saved by Manager Marcus at Store #2652 in Holbrook, AZ. "We were on a trip from Arizona to Michigan when suddenly the Add Coolant message came on. We managed to limp into Holbrook at Store #2652. The Manager of the store, Marcus, swung into action to save the day and our trip. Turns out, he’s a mechanic himself, and a creative, good one! He found th...e problem, a hole in a hose, and grabbed some new clamps, potentially useful parts, and pulled out his own tools. Marcus gave me direction from his position, lying on the ground, face-up, in the parking lot, to help him wrestle the bad hose out. When it came loose, several tablespoons, at least, of coolant spilled down on him. He didn’t say a word! Not a complaint, nothing. Just pure, professional mechanic skill and a desire to help someone in need. He was amazing, and quite a testament to his cool, problem-solving temperament. He wound up cutting the hose in two, at the hole, stuck a short piece of pipe into the hole, clamped that into place, and then got busy reinstalling our repaired hose into the vehicle. After running the engine for a while to see if it would leak (it certainly did not!), we thanked him. I want to offer our unequivocal praise for outstanding service and a hearty thank you to Marcus, and the entire O’Reilly Auto Parts family, for coming to our aid and saving our trip. He really did go above and beyond what anyone would have expected him to do in order to serve our needs. When we need more parts (or fluids!) you can bet we will be going only to an O’Reilly Auto Parts store. "
