I took my 2005 Chevy Malibu to Orange County Brake Services for a noise coming from the right front tire area. I thought it was the brakes, so I was fully prepared to have to replace my front brakes. The mechanic brought me out to the shop and showed me that my brake pads were in great shape, very little wear. Upon further inspection he did notice that my outer tie rod had a crack in it. I told them the that I had an extended warranty, I gave him the contact information. Orange County Brake Services took it from there, called got authorization for the repairs, ordered the part and had the repairs completed by the time I got off work. That horrible noise is gone and it didn't cost me a dime. I will be back for regular maintenance.Thanks Orange County Brake Services

I've taken my car to Orange County Brake Services a couple of times. The service is great and they don't try to push useless tests on you. I went to pepboys for an electrical problem and they were going to charge me 150 bucks just to find out what it was (no repair included) so I went to Orange County Brake Services and they figured it out within minutes because they have real mechanics. In the end I paid 90 something bucks for them to fix a problem that turned out to be sort...-of unfixable. I trust these guys, and I am a pretty un-trusting person. I will always take my car to Orange County Brake Services for brake repairs, Brake Parts, and oil changes... essentially they are the only one that I am willing to have touch my car. They sometimes take longer than they estimate, but considering the fact that they are real mechanics who don't screw you over in a crisis situation I still have to give them 5 stars. See more
