YAY!! No more mouth breathing for this little one! Watch for lips slightly apart, this could signify a mouth breathing habit that can cause a host of health problems including chronic congestion and inflammation in the ears, nose and throat. Let's catch these bad habits early and create new healthy habits that are LIFE CHANGING! #oralposture

YAY Helping kiddos avoid tubes, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy surgeries is something we do on a daily basis. Helping kids sleep better, eliminate snoring, decrease allergies... helping kids THRIVE! We LOVE our patients and LOVE this awesome job These twins are so fun to work with and I’m so happy that they are getting better.. mom states in this review how her son had recurring ear infections for 2 years and her daughter snored like an old man, both had poor sleep health, both were mouth breathers and both had allergies. NOW.. no more ear infections , no more snoring , decreased allergy symptoms . So happy to help them #grateful @ Oral Posture - Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy

Jenae has been a life saver for me and she guided me in this journey and has been teaching me various exercises to build tongue strength as well as proper function of the facial muscles and I am pain free finally. I am still engaging in oral myofunctional therapy with her on a regular basis which has been helping me significantly. She has extreme wealth of knowledge, not just about her own subject but also about specifics of brain and brainstem functions, nutrition, stress m...anagement, sleep hygiene and provides a holistic approach to management of this very complicated and confusing problem. I trust her with my life and once I had built that trust in her, I started letting go of some of the other treatment approaches like PT, Chiropractic care which were not helping and causing more pain. I am so grateful to Jenae for her support, guidance and nurturing spirit. #grateful #lovemyjob #oralposture #orofacialmyology #breathingbehaviortherapy @ Oral Posture - Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy See more

We need to stop looking at modern medicine as the answer to all things.. while we need it in some cases and are grateful for it.. we need to start looking at our full body health and immune systems. We need to eliminate an inflammatory diet, we need to improve sleep quality, we need to check our Vitamin D and B12 levels and supplement accordingly.. we need to start living in a more parasympathetic tone. There are functional approaches to our health that will help us become st...ronger and fight these viruses naturally... Repair our gut microbiome. Eliminate sugar, eliminate grains. Increase vitamin C - take small doses throughout the day when feeling run down.. take supplements to boost the immune system like oregano oil, echinacea and elderberry.. get a blood test to see where your D3 level is and get it into a 60-80 range.. get a B12 test and make sure it’s above 500. Exercise regularly. Breathe through your nose - it filters the air and produces NO which helps fight bacteria and viruses. Make sure your tongue is functional.. when you swallow correctly the back of the tongue should squeeze the lymphatic system to help keep it moving and filtering. There are so many functional and holistic things that we can do to protect ourselves from threats.. we need to stop being scared and take charge of our health. Our bodies are amazing machines that when functional can achieve amazing things. #oralpostre #holistichealth #functionalhealth #breathingtherapy #orofacialmyology See more

Breathing through nose is a healthy habit approved by researchers and it is also helpful in cure of flu. Because normal nose breathing help us to use nitric oxide generated in our sinuses. And research told us that nitric oxide has confirmed function of destruction of viruses, parasitic organisms, and malignant cells in the airways and lungs by inactivating their respiratory chain enzymes. NO inhibits the replication of influenza viruses, probably during the early steps of the viruses’ replication cycle, involving the synthesis of vRNA and mRNA encoding viral proteins. Thus NO is responsible for the cure of flu by killing influenza virus. #oralposture https://www.researchgate.net//311509644_Evidence_for_the_c

BEFORE AND AFTER ONLY 6 sessions of our therapy! We can get the tonsils and adenoids to shrink and get the airway to open with our BREATHING AND OROFACIAL MYOLOGY PROGRAMS. We aren’t done yet... but this is great progress for only 6 sessions without the use of any prescribed medication. #oralposture #breathingbehaviortherapy #orofacialmyology #tonsils #adenoids #sleepapnea #dysfunctionalbreathing #letsdothis #breathe #sleep #smile #live #THRIVE @caiba_love @jenaeciuffreda @oralposture

I got to share my passion of breathing physiology and orofacial myology with a group of incredible people today. I’m grateful for the opportunity to spread this powerful knowledge as I know how life changing it can be. I’m grateful for my patient who set this event up and for the family who hosted us. I’m grateful for each person who attended... AND I’m so incredibly grateful for this woman standing beside me who has dedicated herself to absorbing everything I throw at her.. TINA IS AMAZING and I’m so grateful that she is a part of my practice! #grateful #oralposture #myteam @caiba_love

GOALS: nasal breathing, diaphragmatic breathing, peaceful and restorative sleep, tongue resting in the roof of the mouth, lips sealed, teeth slightly apart, correct swallowing pattern, correct chewing pattern.
