We appreciate everyone that has come by showing support.

Hello everyone, Hope you were all able to stay well during the State's Stay-at-home Order. Optometric Expressions is gingerly reopening. We will be here everyday M-F starting at 10 am. We will start to schedule routine eye exams at no more than a strict one patient per hour to be on the safe side. We'll be wearing additional PPE. Procedures are in place for healthy frame selection. Gloves are provided on request.. Masks are required of all patrons and provided if needed.... We'll have curbside pick-up for glasses and contact lenses. So, our opening is as slow and careful as it could be. We do appreciate all the well wishes from so many in the community. We remain committed to Optometry in downtown San Diego and trust in your support of our small business in these challenging days. I have unfortunately had to temporarily close the office due to the virus outbreak and Governor Gavin Newsom's Stay-At-Home Order to help with social distancing. Having temporarily closed our doors after being in Emerald Plaza less than a year is difficult but I'm aware all of California is struggling alongside my staff and I with work layoffs and uncertain futures. We are devastated but we are still going to serve our community. All our windows are now boarded up but we are open. Please come in for an eye exam. All of our frames were looted but we'll get more product soon.
