(Adoption 1465) Alice arrived at TAPS about to give birth. She had 3 handsome boys. She raised them well and then sent them on their way to enjoy their new, happy homes. Now Alice is kicking off her "me time" by choosing her own pack. Enjoy your happy life, Alice!

My name is Gretchen and love to hike. I have A+ leash skills. I am 8 years old and 80lbs of love. I like people, dogs and can coexist with a cat. I am housebroken. I would do best in a home without toddlers and should not be left alone in yard because can jump a 6ft fence. Sign me up for the high jump in the olympics. If you are interested in adopting me fill out application at www.tapsusa.org.

(Adoption 1463) Sweet Tallulah was adopted from TAPS in 2016. This summer, her loving adopter developed a health issue and was no longer able to care for this dog that she loved so much. Because of our purple collar promise, TAPS welcomed Tallulah back, and set out to find another loving home for Tallulah. When she came back to us, we took her in for a vet visit. Tallulah has developed and eye disease that made is necessary to remove the eye. Now, we have made good on our promise to Tallulah and her former adopter! It’s happy hearts across the board for these 2 ladies! We are all cheering for Tallulah today!

(Adoption 1462) When we met Odin at the city shelter, he was wearing a sweater. We knew right then that this guy had a lot of character. Under that sweater was a stunning gray coat and a magnetic attitude. Odin's search for his forever home has come to a close. His thoughtful adopter is doing everything to let this handsome cat know that he is family now. Happy life Odin!

(Adoption 1461) Hedy arrived at TAPS with her 3 babies. She was done being a Mama by then and needed some TLC of her own. We watched her slowly come into her own, and with our amazing fosters, we were able to help her acclimate to her new world and see what's a dog's life is really about. Hedy will shine on in her new forever home where she is the starlight of an adopter who adores her. Happy life Hedy!

(Adoption 1460) Kimmel arrived at TAPS a bit unsure of everything. He needed to be warmed up to traffic sounds, the groomer and new people in general. He received a first class seat at one of TAPS's frequent fosters who has a lot of experience cracking that anxious shell. Not only has the shell, been shed, but this guy is to date, the most photographed pup from a foster. (Special thank you to foster Susie for helping Kimmel turn the corner!) More photos and nuzzles to come in Kimmel's new forever home. We are all so proud of this guy! He has made family connection, and it's nothing but love from here on in. Happy life, Kimmel!

(Adoption 1457) There is a collective cheer sweeping through Los Angeles today, and it's all for Monica and her new forever family! TAPS works hard to make that solid fit between people and pets. We saw Monica's possibilities come and go for 3 years. Her potential adopters were always heartbroken to realize that it wasn't a match. While Monica was a TAPS pup, she was very lucky to have an amazing foster home that was open to her for nearly the whole time she has been here. Her foster family played a huge part in Monica's interviews, being able to relay Monica's home behavior and character. The wait for her forever home is over. Her new family "got her" even before they started fostering her. Monica has chosen her pack! We are all looking forward to seeing Monica thrive in this exciting chapter of her life. www.tapsusa.org

Hi my name is Lion and I am beauty. I'm in need of a foster or adopter. Look at my eyes aren't they dreamy? It is best that I be the only pet. I love to play. I would do best in a home without small children or seniors who may not do well with a play scratch. I would love a home with big window or catio. I'm independent and love-able once I feel comfortable. Visit www.tapsusa.org

My name is Gretchen and I am about 8 years old. I am a lap dog and sometimes I forgot I'm a big German Shepherd. I'm great on leash and with all dogs. I should be in a home without small children. If you are interested in adopting me, visit www.tapsusa.org.

(Adoption 1456) Kola arrived at TAPS with her 2 bitty babies. She saw both of them off to their forever families. Kola then went into her new foster home. It didn’t take long for her to become a permanent part of her own family, proving, once again, that black cats are lucky! www.tapsusa.org
