Open Lid Piano Studio

Since the Curation Concert last year, things have been very busy and moving along with building up Open Lid Piano Studio. We now have expanded with another piano teacher and now even have a vocal instructor on staff! We've also expanded and remodeled our teaching space (more info on that to come soon) So, I'm super happy to introduce the two new Open Lid teachers, Chad & Caroline! They are both wonderful people I'm thankful to have been able to find. I'm proud and excited to ...work with them. They are first-class musicians and instructors that will keep our standards high here. And their students already really love them! If you are interested in taking piano or vocal lessons with them, we will be having an Open House meet and greet on Saturday, July 27th from 1pm-6pm. After much waiting and planning, I just booked a beautiful hall at a beautiful location in Downtown LA for a benefit performance next year!! Wherever you may be, I hope you can make plans to attend and tell others. The one-night concert is in support of my mother's cancer treatments. I'm fortunate to be working with other talented artists to create a special and beautiful show! I will announce ticket information in the coming weeks and they should go on sale in late Fall.... Planning to perform Classical, original and electro-acoustic pieces featuring strings, vocalists, synths and, of course, piano! Getting my #pianostudents on track for the coming year. This last March was my first time submitting my students for the #mtac #cm #certificateofmerit program. The experience seemed to help them be serious about practicing and other aspects of their learning. 8 of my 11 submitted students passed with one receiving honors. The other 3 came very close but just missed in one area. Looking forward to this year going even better as I adjust my #pianoteaching and start a lot earlier.
