Jr Awards: Date TBD...

In the times of COVID-19... Jr League: As the Governor’s address was kind of short notice; tonight is still on but totally at the discretion of the parents. A...s the situation evolved the coaching staff agreed that the program will be cut two weeks short in the best interests of all concerned. Regrettable as that may be the health of our young athletes, their families, the coaches, and the wider population is paramount. That in mind, those attending tonight will get this message in handout form: 17-Mar-2020: Given the current COVID-19 situation, and in consideration of California Dept. of Public Health Guidelines, the Chico Rod and Gun Club Jr Rifle program will end earlier than planned. The last two shooting sessions (Mar 24th and Mar 31st) are cancelled. Neither of these nights will be counted toward "perfect attendance" (nor will Mar 17th). The Jr Awards Presentation scheduled for April 7th, for now, is still on the calendar. If that that changes, all participants will be notified. Our main concern is minimizing the risk (however small) that any of our group contract or spread the virus. Fire as usual; leave targets in the scoring room... targets will picked up Friday am, scored/recorded, and sent to League Secretary. Scores fired Thursday will also be used for the Club handicap match non-fired this year. Anyone not shooting this week will be entered in the H/C match using their last fired league score. League and Club awards TBA when this sorts out a bit.
