Sacramento-based theatre actor and teacher Tom Block first joined OnStage as Cynthia Speakman's student, aged 4. Having earned his BA at San Diego State University, he has acted in several plays, including Hamlet, The Grapes of Wrath, and The BFG.

We Our Talented Teachers! Christian Weiss, who teaches our Connect and Create: Imagination classes for kids and drop-in social hour for adults, grew up going to theater camps and participating in school plays. In 2018 he graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's in Theater with an emphasis in playwriting. Kids who love to write will be guided to create a play as a team using Google docs, then develop theatre skills to bring it to production on the last day of classes.
