Happening TOMORROW, Thursday May 27! We’ll be live-streaming Santa Barbara’s Foothills Forever Campaign’s Virtual Benefit Concert. The Save San Marcos Foothills campaign has raised over $11 million so far, leaving a remaining $7.7 million to be raised in the next 5 days. This free, virtual benefit concert featuring local music legends Glen Phillips, Zach Gill, Rich Mahan,and Bruce Goldish Music aims to entertain and attract supporters. The virtual concert will include beautiful footage of the San Marcos foothills as well as testimonials by local campaign leaders. Tune in at http://bit.ly/foothillsforever

Last month, our cannabis client Flow Kana called upon a who’s-who of cannabis journalists, critics, influencers, and industry leaders (including our lead cannabis consultant Liz Rogan) to take a blindfolded #SungrownChallenge. Each participant compared outdoor vs. indoor grown cannabis for flavor, potency, and effects to settle the debate once and for all. What’s more? Flow Kana is donating $10,000 to Planting Justice, a California nonprofit that grows edible community gardens and creates job for people transitioning from prison. Our team commemorated #MLK Day with an anti-racism activity ft a @TEDx Talk by Susan Long-Walsh who helps organizations improve their culture, and strategically plan for #inclusion, #equity, and #diversity in the workplace. Shoutout to Oniracom Live stream Expert, Paul Mathieu! Through collaborating with Paul, we’ve been able to support our community’s businesses and nonprofits by adapting their fundraisers and events to COVID-safe livestreams and broadcasts.
