***This post is for everyone interested in increasing their Instagram followers/engagement.*** Okay, fellow marketers let's talk Kardashians. I came across a growth hack in a FB group I am a part of. I thought it was just plain ridiculous and didn't even work (especially because I'm personally not the biggest fan of what the Kardashians individually stand for and represent). ... Regardless, they've achieved a certain success in certain areas and the success is pretty visible. One of those areas they succeed at is Instagram marketing. Just to give you an idea of the scope of their success, let me give you a few examples: 1) Kim Kardashian on IG: ---- 94.2 Million Followers; ---- Average Post LIKES ~ 1,115,456 ---- Average Comments ~ 10,000 2) Kylie Jenner on IG: ----87.9 Million Followers; ----Average Post Likes ~ 2,134,562 ----Average Comments ~ 80,000 (!) The rest of the family has similar numbers for their respective social media accounts. Now, the hack involves pretty much utilizing the accounts of the Kardashians, visit them every day and post the comment 'Lb.' What the heck does 'Lb' mean you might be wondering right about now? Well, it simply means 'likeback' or 'like back'. "Are you kidding us right now?" Nope, we're not. Doing this every single day will increase your following by ~100 every single week. Not only that, the people who follow are actually real people and I get to increase the interaction and engagement on my profile as well. It's pretty fascinating. You gotta do it every single day though to see some results. In conclusion, the 'LB' or 'Lb' strategy can be a fun way to build camaraderie with fellow Insta users. However, and as a wise man once said, with great power comes great responsibility so if you're deciding on using 'Lb,' do it mindfully and be respectful of each other! A good friend recently taught us a simple growth hack. Pay a company with a complement product to place your Facebook pixel on their website. From there, you'll build a relevant retargeting audience and can use similar media to their brand to target their audience (their logo, brand colors, and testimonials). Has anyone done this?

GETTING TRACTION ON SOCIAL MEDIA: 1. Post incredible content that is valuable and relatable. "Relatable is shearable." Tell a story, make it compelling, and make it about your audience. Strangers don't share what makes you look funny, smart, or cool. Strangers share what makes THEM look funny, smart, or cool. 2. Post the content as often as possible. Don't burn out on this. Don't commit to doing it every day if you really aren't going to do it. It's better to post o...nce EVERY week than every day for a week and then be silent for a month. CONSISTENCY IS KEY. 3. Distribute it. Here's how to do it for free: Use influencers. Here are three ideas on how to do it. a) Talk to underground content creators and ask for permission to use their song/picture/video as part of your content and want to know if they'll be down to share your page once it's up since you're using their content. Think about the impact this has at scale when you have 30 or 100 or 1,000 people sharing your page because their content is tied to your page. b) Find other YouTubers/Facebookers/Twitterers/etc. in your town and do videos together (video is hot right now). If nobody is around, then hit up somebody online and ask them if they want to do a collab video. Figure out how to make this work. There are thousands of YouTubers that have built their careers off of collab videos. There is little competition at the moment for doing this on Facebook. c) Understand the influencer's target audience and offer to create a piece of content for their page, blog, feed, and they do the same for your page, blog, feed. It's like a collab but without the collab. More like using each other's timeline's to swap target audiences. This, of course, doesn't work in all industries, but it works very well for the creatives in this group (photographers, videographers, musicians, etc.) 4. Don't stop until you've made it.

The more recent the better Budget - 6/10 If you have higher budget, they’re going to put more weight behind processing your lookalikes, they’ll dedicate more processing/optimization power towards optimizing your ad account CTR - 8/10 Manually bidding high 9 times out of 10 will get you a higher CTR Relevance Score - 8/10 Mainly based on CTR but also based on phrases used in the ad copy User Feedback - 8/10 People reporting your ads as spam or hiding it or commenting negative things Quality (on backend) - 8/10 There’s about 6 quality scores: Page quality score, ad account, how many times you have failed payment, etc. Bid Price - 9/10 Higher the manual bid the better placement in the newsfeed. History - 9/10 Ad account history, history of how audiences perform, how certain ad copies did Engagement - 9/10 Use PPE to artificially bring this up and get your quality score up ***Do any you have other thoughts/experience on how the Algo works for you?***
