My entire family has taken classes from one Martial arts in San Francisco for nearly a decade. There are not enough great things I can say about the school. I am incredibly grateful for the inspiring instructors and effective teaching we have received over the years. Interestingly, we have not only received great lessons in the martial arts, but more importantly, great lessons in life skills such as self-discipline, confidence, respect and focus. Quite honestly, One Martial ...Arts has even helped me become a better parent. The Covid crisis has taken an incredible toll on all of us at a global scale. But it is important to know that we can make a difference by starting at the local level. One way is to show our support for great local businesses and schools like One Martial Arts. It is amazing that Professor Beliso, Sifu Dela Cruz and the team have been able to survive and continue to provide excellent instruction while others have not. I believe that is a testament to the outstanding culture that he has created and the wonderful community behind him. As an entrepreneur myself, I know how hard it is to make ends meet when building a business. It’s even tougher when an unforeseen pandemic destroys the economy at a systemic level. This is when the community must come together and help out. Professor Beliso and his team always talk about how grateful they are about the support the school receives from the community. I think it’s time that we show our gratitude for what One Martial Arts has done for us. Even little things like paying for our classes annually upfront or buying bulk lesson packages can help a small business during these challenging times. Please let’s band together and stand with One Martial Arts by doing what we can to ensure that this wonderful institution continues to thrive well beyond this Covid setback. Celebrate Halloween in all our outdoor classes on Saturday, October 31st from 9:15am 1pm. We encourage all our students to wear a costume in their regularly scheduled outdoor class. We will offer fun spooky music and give out pre-portioned and safe candy at the end of each class. All siblings, virtual & indoor students are welcomed to stop by in costume to receive candy as well. All we ask is that you please sign up each child individually in our APP, so that we have enough candy prepared for all our children to enjoy. Deadline to sign up is Thursday, October 29th.
