It's time to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Every Christmas I watch It’s a Wonderful Life. And every year when Clarence the angel is introduced as Angel 2nd class...the clockmaker...I think WOW. A clockmaker! After nearly 50 years of being in the time business I always love that line. But this year, for the first time, I wondered where would Clarence have been born and what kind of clock would he have made in the mid 17th century? He must have been born in England. England was the clockmaking center of the world in the 17th century. As for the type of clock....my guess the lantern clock....the popular clock of the day.

Did you know that the famous elf on the shelf has a Cambrian cousin? OUAT’s Christmas elves made by Susan Foreman would love to keep the shelf elf company.

During this challenging year it is time to light up your life. And we have the perfect wall clock for you. In fact, we like this clock so much we each bought one for our own homes. In daylight it looks like a regular clock. But as the room darkens the dial gradually lights up. It really is a fantastic clock and less than one hundred dollars.
