A little infraspinatus counterstrain and postisometric relaxation to warm the cockles of your heart and improve glenohumeral internal rotation. This is a great... folllow-up to the glenohumeral recentering ligamentous articular strain technique I demonstrated a few days ago. A few things to say about this video. 1. In counterstrain it's the position that does the work, not pressing on the point. Only press the point to determine the change in tenderness. 2. Postisometric relaxation is not a stretch per se. Follow the slack the muscle gives up during the relaxation phase, don't force the issue. 3. In both techniques pain is a limiting factor. Don't cause any.
