WE ARE BACK!! We decided to take a break from social media and live in the now! Apologies to those who enjoy our posts and keep an eye on us and have missed us. Any who, WE ARE ALIVE AND KICKIN’ and we have shifted gears for the winter that lies ahead. It’s definitely going to be a different situation than what we have experienced ever before. We are going to be taking a lot of steps to ensure the safety of you all and the safety of our staff. We are hoping everyone will be u...nderstanding, patient and compassionate to each other and to the crew at Olympus. Those who can’t abide...well, I’m sure there’s a board shop somewhere that will be happy to take their money along with their bad energy. Prior to the arrival of snow and the opening of the resorts we are asking everyone to schedule appointments so that we can best accommodate everyone’s needs and avoid unnecessary crowds in our cozy little shop. Also, it has officially been announced that California ski resorts are not permitted to sell same day passes! I’m sure this practice will be exercised in other states as well as we already know that Copper in Colorado is additionally requiring people to reserve parking in advance. Time for us all to re-train the brain and learn how to plan ahead folks. In the long run it will make everyone’s lives so much better (unless you’re one of those people that will just never learn) so if you are looking to get up to the hill we would be happy to accommodate you but be sure and book those lift tickets well in advance! And while we will be doing our best to accommodate walk in business, those who have scheduled appointments in advance will take priority. On both the homepage and the rental page of our website we have a link that is fast and easy to use to schedule your appointment. It does have a limited capacity so if you are not able to choose the time slot and day that you would like you are welcome to come on by and jump in line. Keep in mind that Thursday and Friday will always be our busiest days so if you end up coming in on one of those days without an appointment, please be patient and prepared for potentially a long wait. When I was a kid and the cops snagged my board it never ended up like this.
