OPENING 11/23/18 The Day after Thanksgiving We know Turkey Day is your main focus right now, but we are releasing this newsletter to let you know that Ol' Saint Nick's Christmas Tree Lot will be open on November 23rd, 2018. We will once again be located at 3925 Power Inn Rd (same location as last year). This is the corner of Power Inn Rd and 14th Avenue. Below you will find some news about our Christmas Tree Lot.... News about Ol' Saint Nick's Christmas Trees CHRISTMAS TREE NEWS: As you may have heard, Oregon has been limited on rain the past few seasons. With limited rain came limited tree growth. It was very difficult to find any Noble Fir Christmas trees above 9' tall. We managed to round up a few plus 10' nobles but we are limited so if it is height you are seeking, then we recommend coming early. We will also have Douglas Fir Trees available in the 10' range. Our full inventory will include Douglas Fir, Noble Fir, Wild Noble Fir, and Silvertips. LOT NEWS: Our lot will be located at the same location as last year. We did experience some puddling last year and have laid/graded the lot to mitigate any water development this season. There is a lot more rock on the ground so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes when coming to shop (high heels are not recommended). We will have a staff ready to help you twirl your tree but if it is your tradition to get your hands on the trees then we do recommend wearing gloves. THE UNFORTUNATE NEWS: We are sad to announce the passing of ACE, the yellow Labrador. He was an attraction at Ol' Saint Nick's and my best friend. He was a happy go lucky dog that lived a great life. Customers at Ol' Saint Nick's loved him and he always seemed to brighten up the mood at the house and Christmas tree lot. He will forever be missed. This year his younger step brother will take the role as lead dog. His name is CHICO and he is a labrador mix. He is friendly with humans and other animals so please feel free to bring your animals out for the shopping. We will also have OZZY, the Chihuahua mix on weekend days.
