Scientists at IBM the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Stanford University have developed a new virtual robotics challenge where contestants have to design a virtual agent, that when placed randomly, find a small set of objects scattered around the house, pick them up, and transport them to a desired final location. This challenge is called the TDW (ThreeDWorld) -Transport Challenge and so far, there are no current AI techniques that have solved it. Fortunat...ely, the results of the competition can help find new directions for the future of embodied AI and robotics research. To learn more about his challenge and why it is so difficult, click on the link below: https://buff.ly/3eR3TDM #RoboticsChallenge #ArtificialIntelligence #MIT #Stanford
