Proceeds from this fun, community-wide event support the school and the entire Our Lady of Lourdes community. We look forward to inviting our parents, friends, families, and community members. 100% of the proceeds will benefit our children's school, athletic and academic programs as well as community outreach. Our focus is to educate our children and t...he youth of our Parish, to feed those in financial need by way of the parish food bank, The Pasture, and to revitalize the buildings of our school and parish. California Catholic schools receive 0% funding from the state vs. 100% for traditional public schools. Our Lady of Lourdes actively hosts numerous fundraisers each year to bridge the gap between the lack of state funds and the necessary costs involved in providing required academic programs. However; despite these efforts, there has been a shortage of funding available to cover all necessary costs. Our Lady of Lourdes strives to offer more academic programs compared with traditional public schools including Robotics, Chess, Music, and Performing Arts. The school’s vision is to prepare students to become 21st century leaders as members of a democratic society and global economy. With Christ as our foundation, love and charity are woven into classroom instruction and school activities. Our Lady of Lourdes strives to provide students with tools to develop their intellectual, artistic, physical, spiritual, and social competencies.
