The Ramona Unified School District Board recently approved this trip and we believe it is going to be so much fun! Updated Tourism Information: Outside memorials are open in all three cities and indoor venues are continuing to reopen in all three major cities at reduced capacities The big ones in DC that are now reopened are the Washington Monument and the White House Visitor’s Center. There is also a brand new museum called The National Museum of the United States Army https://www.thenmusa.org/ that is scheduled to open this Veteran's day (11/11/2020) this will be a free site and is dedicated to honoring and telling the stories of American soldiers. Other federal sites, like Holocaust Museum and Ford’s Theatre are now telling us they are aiming for the first of the year for their reopen dates. Smithsonian is now up to 7 museums reopened with plans to reopen all museums in the coming weeks. In NYC, everything except Broadway has now reopened. Broadway is aiming for June 1st to reopen and there are 7 shows in the production phase currently. Philadelphia is almost completely reopened Independence Hall and all of the historic sites that you all visit have reopened. Indoor dining is about 50% capacity in each city now. School Pictures If your student missed having their picture taken, please come to the PAC on Monday, October 19th, in the following time frames:... 10:00-11:00- 7th grade with last name beginning A-K 11:30-12:30 - 7th grade with last name beginning L-Z 12:30-1:30 - 8th grade with last name beginning A-K 1:30-2:30 - 8th grade with last name beginning L-Z If your student had their picture taken on registration day, you may come on picture makeup day, October 19, at your designated time frame (as listed above), to pick up your pictures. At that time, if you are unhappy with the picture, your student can have their picture retaken that day. Otherwise, we will be distributing the pictures after school starts the second week of school in their first period class.
