Congratulations to our Movie Academy class for winning BEST PICTURE of JUNIOR HIGH at the Christian Youth Film Festival. In addition, Grant MacArthur was nominated for BEST EDITING against two High School entries.

Today our Robotics Team-A qualified for WORLDS!!! Jayden English, Charlie Tabar, Vance Stavens, and Tyler Douglas. Last year was a season of disappointment. Just days before the California State Championships, the competition was canceled. We've qualified every year for State since 2014 -- and that's great -- but we felt that the 2020 season might qualify us for Worlds. COVID-crazy robbed our team of the opportunity to prove their mettle. ... The 2021 season continued to be difficult. The lock-downs didn't end. No live competitions. We finally were able to have an online tournament a few weeks ago to test our teams and inspire innovation. It prepared our teams for today's competition that qualified Team-A for Worlds. The World Competition is in Texas this year. Can we go? I don't know. There's conflict with our Washington DC trip... and, of course, there's the cost involved. But God will lead us. In addition to qualifying for WORLDS, Team-A was awarded the INNOVATE honor. INNOVATE is awarded to the team for their Engineering Design Process and innovative solutions to the 2021 challenge. We're just proud of our program and proud of this great team that represented us! We're grateful to our coaches: Suzanne Hunter and Trevor Kirby. Thanks for inspiring our students!
