Hey guys am I right or wrong. I think Old Tonys is the Oldest restuarant in the Beach communities Redondo , Palos Verdes, Hermosa and Manhattan Beach. The Bull Pen is slightly older but has moved 3 seperate times so I'll give them an Asterix*. In the South Bay there's Hoffs Hut 1951 I think.

Ok so shut down restuarants and push all gatherings to homes. Amazing. The elderly are most vulnerable so order the elderly with covid to nursing homes. Wtf I swear I'm living in the twilight zone. 60% of all restuarants are gone forever. Just read an article that METH use is skyrocketing because so many are out of work. Pretty cool to be acknowledged for something that so far has been so rewarding. I'm down to hopefully, my last 3 nights. Tonight is the 2nd half of Map #19 then all of Map #6. Then, as usual take Torrance blvd down to Catalina to Topaz then down to the Esplanade then through the Riviera to pay homage to South Redondo, hone of Old Tonys. Tonight I am doing last half of Map # 19 and all of map 6. Start at 6pm ish I feel bad but I had to cancel tonight's Torrance Santa Tour. So far its been 5 nights , 4 hours a night, about 13,000 homes and countless residents and my voice is gone. Promise I will start back up tomorrow and won't stop until every map has been completed. Hope nobody feels bad for me because the pleasure has been all mine, the amount of Thank You's I've received will last a life time. So proud of you South Bay & Old Tonys customers . Clay made a short thank you video to all those who donated to his GoFundMe page. When I 1st met him broken down in the middle of PCH to help push his car to side of road he was ready to give up and return to his gang life in St Louis. . Now because of you guys he has a perfectly good running car, his rent is paid for the next 4 months , he's talking wedding plans and just today he got a job at Lowes. Hey South Bay, This is my friend Clay. I was driving Anthony to hockey and i noticed a car broke down on Sepulveda with nobody helping. So Anthony and i pulled over, we stopped traffic and pushed Clays car to safety. I could tell he was upset. His phone rang and it was his fiance who i could tell was asking "what are we going to do now?" A police officer pulled up and he got nervous but when the officer was nice he quickly relaxed. The officer said "we need to tow your car , where woukd you like it towed to?" I could tell Clay didnt have the money so i automatically said "Officer, i will pay for the car to get towed to my mechanic, i then told Clay that i will pay for the tow and all the expenses to get your car fixed and running again " You know what Clay did ? He instantly broke down crying telling me that " nobody has ever done anything like this for him in his entire life" I got a little teary eyed and so did the officer. Clay went on to explain that him and his girlfriend moved out here just 2 months ago because she got a job as a beautician and that with covid its been tough and Clay has applied for 14 jobs with no luck. They drove from St Louis to escape the gang life. Clay has been shot 7 times and knew that moving was the only way to get married have a child and start a new life. His car breaking down was going to be the end of their dreams and probably the end of his relationship. I promised him that that South Bay would have his back and that people will step up to welcome you with open arms and will chip in to insure that him and his fiance will be able to live out their dreams. All my interactions with Clay have been "yes sir" "no sir" "thank you" etc etc. He is the of the politest kids ive ever met. Please contribute to help get his car fixed, maybe painted and we can raise enough money to get their rent paid for for the next few months. Lets give these kids a break. Can someone help me out please. I can pay you with a meal at Old Tonys. I'm looking to do a walk to raise money for Altheimers which is what my Dad. Founder of Old Tonys passed away from. I want to start walking from Old Tonys in the morning and go live on the Old Tonys facebook page and just walk till I drop which I'm guessing will be 10 miles (maybe) pretty out of shape. Would like to get people to donate $1 per mile i end up walking but I have no idea how to set this up.... Can someone help me please. I'm thinking of doing it in 3 weeks. I was trying to set up the app CharityMiles but already confused. Thank you in advance . The app was cool because people can track me. I guess I coukd do it as simple as write down who will donate for each miles and just list them.
