Monterey residents and visitors: an important reminder from the Monterey County Health Department: vaccinated people still need to wear a mask indoors when out in our community.

It was announced this week that Golden State Theatre in Downtown Old Monterey is reopening in August 2021 with a great line-up for the late summer & fall. You can purchase tickets for all shows on their website beginning May 14 at 10am. Please note: Golden State Theatre has said that any GST tickets that were purchased for postponed shows in 2020 will be honored for the new date - the Theatre will be sending out updated 2021 tickets prior to the show. If you do not see your 2020 entertainer listed yet, please be patient - they're still working on confirming reschedule dates for 2021.

The City of Monterey is seeking park volunteers! Volunteers in Parks assist with planting, pruning, weeding, & landscape maintenance in City parks and gardens. No experience necessary. Information, tools, & instruction provided. All Covid-19 protocols strictly followed. Volunteers typically work on Tuesdays, 9am-11:30am.
