Old Sacramento Schoolhouse Museum

The City of Sacramento had decided that the Old Sacramento Schoolhouse Museum is no longer needed and has canceled our use of the facility after 44 years of operation. It has been a wonderful endeavor and I know it will be missed by the everyone who has ventured there.

This weekend is the Gold Rush Days in Old Sacramento. The Old Sacramento Schoolhouse Museum has many activities planned, but due to the weather, it has been decided to close up early, by 2pm. Thank you for your understanding!

The Hobbit Hole

Come see the ginger bread houses on display at the Old Sacramento Schoolhouse on display now until 12/19. You can vote for your favorite on and the winners will be announced at 2PM Saturday December 10. Also, the Old Sacramento Schoolhouse family will be riding in a horse drawn carriage for the Santa parade around the State Capitol that starts at 10am on December 10. Pictures tomorrow!
