We had a mountain lion in our backyard this morning at 5:30 AM. Be careful. We live on Bonmark in between Willey & Woodland.

A mountain lion was spotted Monday morning on the trail behind the Little League field in Oak View, according to a post on the Ojai Facebook page, Animal Kingdom. A follow-up post stated that the mountain lion has been in Oak View for "awhile." This is the second mountain lion sighting in populated areas of the Ojai Valley since May of this year. If they see a mountain lion, people are advised to call the Sheriff's Department at 805-654-9511 or 911 if it’s an emergency.
