Happy Mother’s Day to our lovely ladies at Ohana Care Home.

Fun and delicious sushi party on Friday! We had a hand roll (temaki) sushi meal yesterday; you get to pick your favorite items and roll your own sushi. It was a huge success! Look how busy our ladies are making and eating their rolls.

We made lemon jam with the lemons we got from our friends’ backyard. Thanks to our ladies, homemade jam came out very delicious!

Meet our new residents. These lovely ladies are both in their 90s but still going strong! Welcome to Ohana Care Home.

This Sunday was Easter We celebrated with cute bunny costumes. Thanks to our wonderful staff, our ladies always enjoy these fun events.

We hope everyone had nice Christmas this year. This is how we celebrated here at Ohana Care Home.

It’s been a very challenging year for all of us. But we are grateful that we are here together, celebrating this year’s special Christmas.

We have a new family member here at Ohana. His name is Sheep a poodle mix, came from a rescue group. Our residents really enjoy his company!

Our residents love Fridays, the days Sachiko comes to exercise with us! Our new resident joined us and had a great time with all of us.

Look at the pretty masks our residents made themselves. They are so natural at sewing.

Another awesome exercise session by Sachiko! She introduced a ball exercise for our residents. They loved it and worked out for one straight hour!!

We have a master of knitting (one of our residents)! She gave us a basic lesson and showed us how to knit step by step. Thank you!!

We had a great exercise session by a wonderful Japanese fitness instructor yesterday. Our residents stayed focused for one hour, exercising their body and mind!! Huge thanks to Sachiko! See you next week.

Today is Kids' day in Japan. Even though we are still under stay home order and practicing social distancing, our residents enjoyed this holiday with a special meal.
