Well we have had one submission for the handyman tip of the day so i will be sending Pam Olsen a $50 gift Card for her Handyman tip of : To tighten a loose screw hole simply pound a golf tee into the hole and cut flush with surface. The screw will now hold firmly. Clean grout with baking soda and water. Sprinkle grout with water, let the water sit for a minute or two. Sprinkle baking soda on the area to be cleaned, and then scrub gently with an old toothbrush. Rinse with sp...onge and water. This is also a good way too polish your tiles using a moist sponge so you don’t scratch the tile. Larry these hints both work really good, I cleaned my grout and it looks like new! Handyman tip of the day: REMOVAL OF ADHESIVE STICKERS For stickers on glass use vegetable oil. Soak the item in oil for a couple minutes to remove the sticker easily. For plastic use WD-40 and let it soak on the item for a couple minutes to remove easily. ... For metal use nail polish remover on a cotton ball and let soak in for a couple minutes to remove sticker easily. For wood use vegetable oil and let it soak in for thirty minutes. Scrape off sticker with a Teflon scraper.

Handyman tip of the day: Fix a Stripped Screw Hole with Toothpicks Stripped screws can be one of the most frustrating kinks in a home improvement project, even after you get it out. If you want to use that hole again, you can make sure your screw stays put with a few toothpicks. insert the toothpicks into the hole and break them off flush with the top of the hole, then insert your screw and continue.

Straight vinegar will get outside windows really clean. Don't wash windows on a sunny day. They will dry too quickly and will probably streak.
