Too late. Oak Grove is shutdown. Please be safe.

Don't be that guy. With everything being shutdown again, Oak Grove has become a destination spot. I have been getting complaints about large groups at Oak Grove. Respect the course by following the rules. Or they will shut us down again. Don't be that guy.

Thank you for your on going support through these trying times. Oak Grove Disc Golf Course is not open yet. I just got off the phone with the City of Pasadena, and they need to present to city council a plan to open up the disc golf course. The Pasadena city council members wants the disc golf course to be open, but the city doesn't have a plan to implement COVID19 guidelines for disc golf. I hope this time next week, we will have a plan. If you know of other courses COVID19 guidelines, I would love to read them please send them our way. Please be mindful of the city workers, they are here for our safety. I am certainly grateful to the City of Pasadena for allowing us to use this area for disc golf. Fingers cross, let's hope to reopen the disc golf course in a couple of weeks.

City meeting again. It is going on right now! 8B is to open up the loop and other activities (we are other activities). Please comment by asking to open up the course. I would also suggest that in your comment to mention that one of the ways to keep good social distancing guidelines is to keep the lower parking lot closed to prevent disc golfers from congregating in one spot. Open up the course for individual play. https://www.pasadenamedia.org/channel/kpas/ https://www.cityofpasadena.net/city-clerk/public-comment/

Oak Grove is not open yet. Please do not rush to Oak Grove, because it is still closed. On Monday, the city will make plans on opening up the course. We will work with the city to implement this as efficiently as possible. Please be patient. Thank you everyone who advocated for the disc golf course to be opened. Please continue to practice self isolation and do not jeopardize our course by ignoring the rules. Stay safe. Stay sane. Much Love.

Oak Grove is still close. :-( Pasadena closed all park activities until after June 30th. We'll revisit this in a month or two. Sorry guys. You can still go to the parks though. Please read the following link for more details. https://www.cityofpasadena.net/parks-and-rec/parks

New proposed layout for Oak Grove DGC, which closely resembles the original layout with some modifications in view of other users’ suggestions for flow and safety. There is nothing really new here folks, as we have talked about these changes for awhile now. This is a work in progress and shouldn't be considered the final proposal to the city. The city has mandated that we limit our variations to 2 positions per hole and limit our number of baskets to 18. We will try to get th...e city to make concessions, but it'll be done as we come closer and closer to a Working Agreement between OGDGC and The city of Pasadena. This is going to take time and patience. Besides being city property, the reason why we need to submit a proposal to the city is so that we can have true municipality support. With our direction, we can have the city create signs, install baskets and achieve other large construction objectives. This partnership between OGDGC and The city of Pasadena will ensure that Oak Grove will be maintained with the professionalism and resources of a large municipality. Once we are on the same page with the city, we'll be able to pour resources into the course. Yes. We've lost a bunch of holes, but these holes were not installed with the City's approval, and thankfully the city has been gracious enough to turn their heads. But those days of leniency are coming to an end. Eventually we'll be able to expand our footprint, but we need to make our current plan official. We need to crack a few eggs to make an omelet. You can view this map on the UDisc app on your phone. Please check it out and let me know what you think. I also took screenshots of each hole, and I will explain each hole. Things are changing at Oak Grove, and it is for the better. Please be safe and calm during these trying and uncertain times. Much OG Love.

I've been getting too many complaints from you guys about the lack of social distancing of you guys. Oak Grove DGC is closed. The Hahamongna Park is still open for hiking and outdoor activities, so the parking lot will be open. BUT the baskets will be bagged. If people keep violating the social distance rule, the city will remove the baskets. I hate to be the hard ass here, but this is coming out of love. Please be safe and be strong. Love you guys.
