It’s that time again. And since we won’t be having any in store candle parties any time soon we’ve opened it up for you to bring us any vessels you want... all week long. Bring us an empty and CLEAN vessel(s) that would make a cool candles and choose from any of our signature scents and we’ll pour you a beautiful unique candle! $3 an ounce! All week long!

We did it! We survived 3 months with closed doors, and we are so excited to announce both our San Diego and San Francisco stores are reopened for full shopping experiences. Yes, you can get your retail fix again people! You are now welcome INSIDE our shops!!! With that, there are new rules.. (that I’m sure apply to every other retailer as well) so listen up! Upon entry of our store we’ll have a hand sanitizing station, you MUST sanitize before you shop! MASKS are required to ...be worn at all times in the store. Q: but how do I smell candles? A: You can actually smell them GREAT through your masks. Please keep at least 6 feet distance between you and other shoppers and we are limiting the number of bodies to our stores, so please be mindful of that as well. If the shops are full, we ask that you kindly wait outside for other shoppers to leave before entering. If you are sick, SHOP WITH US ONLINE. Lets continue to have good health and safety practices and keep our communities safe! We can’t do this without you! Thanks for all of you SUPER ENTHUSIASTIC shoppers who came by yesterday on our first day open. You made our day! I introduced myself and started by saying how I wished for peaceful protest tonight, but more importantly I asked THEM for a peaceful response to the protesters. I reminded them that we need to listen, and not react. The damages and looting will remain minimal if cops can cooperate and list...en. . Also, let’s check in. How are you feeling right now? If you’re feeling scared / anxious / angry then imagine how our friends of color must be feeling right now. How are you helping them? . I have so much to say right now but I’m going to stop and listen. I’m gonna continue listening to people of color. I have to believe that positive lasting change is coming. BLACK LIVES MATTER. We’ve been getting so many questions about how to clean out candles... So we’re going to show you how! 1) Simply scoop as much of the remaining wax out with a metal spoon, and use the spoon to scrape the adhesive wick off the bottom as best as you can. 2) Use a paper towel to wipe off whatever wax is left. 3) Some windex and a paper towel should get it clean enough to drink!
