Bay Area friends Off the Grid has partnered with the City of San Jose to launch a new food relief program for San Jose residents who have been impacted by COVID. This inclusive program delivers FREE groceries or prepared meals to residents who have lost a job, experienced reduced work hours, suffered a financial loss, or are at high-risk for COVID. Off the Grid recently announced the San Jose COVID Food Relief Program, which provides fresh local produce to San Jose residents who have been affected by the pandemic. There is still space to signup- now is your time to see if you qualify for the programs free food deliveries. https://bit.ly/3o1fc0a Examples of who qualifies: - Restaurant server who lost their job or is facing reduced hours - Small business owner, who had to reduce hours or close their business... - A fitness instructor who has been furloughed - A retail salesperson who lost their job - Transit worker who has experienced lower demand and reduced hours - An individual who currently has cancer or chronic kidney disease - Someone who has contracted COVID-19 or is at high-risk (65+ years old) In partnership with the City of San José & Veggielution.
