Our new venue allows us to offer more available classes during the week Please see our new schedule below:... Dmitri Prikhodko will be teaching Sambo classes. Dmitri is Sambo Master of Sport and Black Belt in Judo (under Sensei Juan Montenegro). Dmitri earned 5th place in the Sambo World Masters Championship in 2012 and earned a bronze medal at the Pan American games in 2014. Yaroslav Shostak will be teaching Kickboxing, Thai Boxing and Boxing. Yaroslav is International Master of Sport in Kickboxing. He was the World Kickboxing Champion in 1998 and earned the silver medal at the Thai Boxing World Championships in 2004. Dmitri and Yaroslav will collaborate to teach Combat Sambo Classes. Tim will be teaching Traditional Kodokan Judo and Combat Judo. Tim holds the rank of Sandan (3rd Degree Black Belt) in traditional Japanese Itosu-Kai Karate Do and the rank of Yondan (4th degree black belt) in Kodokan Judo. Tim has worked as a self-defense instructor intermittently since 1990 supporting corporate accounts in Orange County, CA and City of Irvine, Irvine, CA. Ron Pirucki will be teaching Judo classes for beginners and Junior ranks. Ron was a competitive wrestler before he crossed over to Judo. Ron holds the rank of Sandan in Judo (3rd degree Black Belt). Ron established Coto Valley Judo Kan in 2016 with the help of Senseis John Moe, Gary Goltz and Tony Farah; concentrating his instructional efforts on 3 to 10 year-old Judoka. In his Judo career, he has coached several Junior Nationals and Junior Olympics medalists including the 2019 Junior Olympics in Anaheim, CA. Andrea will be teaching Aikido classes. Andrea holds the rank of Aikido 3rd dan and shidoin laido 1st dan. He currently serves as instructor for the Buikukai centers in Orange County and technical supervisor for multiple local University clubs. Most of our classes are open to both children and adults alike. We welcome family classes wherein parents can train together with their kids. If you are interested in mini groups training, private conditioning, cardio, or self-defense classes, we can accommodate you. Simply let us know. We will follow up soon with a new schedule of Judo classes for beginners and Juniors starting in the New Year. Stay strong, See you on the mat.
