Ford Motor Company, Taco Bell, , District Attorney’s (OC GRIP) and its partners including several Orange County Law Enforcement agencies rewarded 150 local elem...entary and middle school at-risk students with a visit to Ford’s Irvine design facilities, as an incentive for positive behavior, perfect attendance, and staying out of gangs. To earn this reward, the students met a challenge to have no unexcused absences, criminal activity or arrests, violence or weapons on campus, and gang-related clothing, writing, or behavior. #ocsdnorthpatrol #grip #ford #tacobell #k9

Not even the pouring rain could stop our dedicated parents from attending a Parents Supporting Parents (PSP) meeting this morning at Handy Elementary School in Orange. Thank you, parents! #ocgrip #gripinaction
OC GRIP packed and distributed over 850 Thanksgiving meals that each feed a family of 10 for students at 57 schools throughout the county who earned them. These... kids met their goals in school, had good attendance and behavior, and stayed out of gangs. Thank you Ralphs and Food 4 Less for generously donating all of the food for these deserving students, and OC GRIP community partner Saddleback Church for hosting the packing day and providing volunteers! Law enforcement partners including Orange County Sheriff's Department, CA, Orange County Probation, Costa Mesa Police Department, and Orange Police Department packed the meals and presented them to students at ceremonies that honored the achievement of each individual student and their families. Happy Thanksgiving!

Last week, students were awarded at the OC GRIP Turkey Incentive at Marco Forster Middle School in San Juan Capistrano. Students set goals for themselves to improve in the areas of attendance, attitude, and academics and if they met their goals, they received a full turkey dinner for themselves and their families. CAPO USD Assistant Superintendent Susan Holliday, Executive Director of Safety Mike Beekman, Principal Pamela Sawyer, Assistant Principal Regi Vettraino, SRO Palma, and Rocky the Roadrunner were in attendance to congratulate the students for a job well done!
