This is our first time with a Dorman battery. The price and warranty are attractive .

This is the bottom of an intake manifold , 5VZFE- made from mid 90s to early 2000’s. This is the side that no one ever sees. The die maker chose to decorate the mold. Who knows why. It is beautiful . Cars and trucks from this period are full of such gestures

About the Prius. Hybrids and electric cars share a need for batteries. Toyota, in nearly every case, has opted for their foamed nickel batteries, while Honda and nearly everyone else opted for Lithium Ion batteries. The Li batteries have caused fires in laptops, in the Boeing Dreamliner, in Tesla, and in cell phones. I am not aware of any Prius fires. Batteries we have removed showed no signs of being hot.
