OCMD Pre-College Dance students train in a diverse range of styles under the guidance and mentorship of experienced, caring faculty members who are experts in their dance field. In collaboration with Fairmont Schools, our Pre-College program is designed for college-bound dancers to train in a high caliber, intimate environment while gaining valuable performance experience. Weekly classes include Dance Wellness, Conditioning, Modern Dance, Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, Hip Hop, Special Studies, Professional Development, and more. We are grateful to our 35th anniversary sponsors Charlie Zhang and Ling Zhang who were honored as Outstanding Philanthropists at the 2018 National Philanthropy ...Day Awards. After arriving in the U.S. with only $20 and a clarinet, Charlie Zhang founded the Pick Up Stix restaurant chain. We’re accepting applications for the @fairmontschools and OCMD Pre-College Music Program! Intended for intermediate to advanced-level students grades 6-12, our Pre-College Music Program creates an environment for young musicians to learn and grow together as they attend classes and participate in ensembles. This program is ideal for student musicians who are seeking additional practice and class time in preparation for participation in events such as competitions, college auditions, and school concerts. The curriculum includes four core classes: Music Coaching, Music Skills Class, Ensemble, and Performance Class.
