A good Sunday in the garden with many new friends! We had a blast at the Community Seed and Plant exchange hosted at Broadway Sol Community Garden, 3733 Broadway Blvd. We will be hosting more events like this coming soon! Join us this Sunday, rain or shine, as we transform the Oak Park Art Garden on the corner of 14th and MLK. We'll be planting, painting, and working on all sorts of projects. Bring your creativity, clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and some positive energy. We'll provide all materials and tools as well as snacks and drinks!

This Thanksgiving, we are grateful to be joining forces with longtime partner, Alchemist Community Development Corporation. They say if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together. We both choose far. We have many thanks to give -- to all of our continued donors, we really couldn’t have done it without you over the years. Oak Park Art Garden just received the first of two loads of donated compost from Sustainability at Sac State! We love and appreciate this local resource (made from on-campus "green waste") and more importantly, the relationship!
