Within just two months of food literacy classes, the nonprofit changes kids’ attitudes towards healthy foodsthe first step towards long-term behavior change. Refill Madness is a soap refillery and zero-waste store dedicated to the health of our planet and community. Sloane strongly believes that we can create change with every single dollar we spend, and our message tells the world what we consider important. Less plastic, less waste, more sustainable options, and more corporate accountability. Sloane opened Refill Madness in February of 2016 and has removed over 80,000 single-use plastics, equaling 25,000 lbs. and 20.83 tons of plastic.
