Sunday we were busy tuning our fine motor skills while creating string art! This project had us working with embroidery yarn and looping them around very small nails. The final product came out amazing and our residents are excited to hang them in their rooms and give them as gifts.

We tried our hand at decoupage today! We took Mardi Gras napkins and wooden frames and turned them into works of art. They are the perfect frame for our Mardi Gras picture. #decoupage #mardigras2021 #diycrafts #oakmontofcamarillo

We had a blast celebrating all the special Mother’s at our community yesterday. We were able take our masks off for a quick photo and a sip of our champagne but put them right back on when mingling with other neighbors from a safe distant of 6 ft apart! We had the best time on Tuesday soaking up the sun and learning a little bit about Van Gough's "Fishing Boats on the Beach at Saintes- Maries" Painting that he painted in 1888.
