RIP Wilford Brimley, one of our most famous Oakdale Rodeo Parade Grand Marshals. A marine, a cowboy and a great actor. He will be greatly missed!

We unfortunately have to break the news at some point...there will be no Oakdale Rodeo in 2020 Please pray for all of the contestants and stock contractors. Rodeo is their livelihood. We hope to see you all again in 2021! We will surely be ready to rodeo in the Cowboy Capital of the World!

Love those rodeo animals you see buck at our rodeo every year?! We sure do! All of those animals are still eating even when they aren’t working (most rodeos throughout the country have been cancelled due to covid19, meaning their owners aren’t making money). Our friends at St. Paul Rodeo Foundation have began the Rodeo Stronger initiative and are helping Stock Contractors in need of help, feed their animals. They take donations as little as $10 and they are a 501c3. Check out their website for more information!

To our fans, sponsors, vendors, and community, The Oakdale Saddle Club is heartbroken to announce that we will be postponing the 69th Annual Oakdale Rodeo and all events including the parade, dance, queen coronation, and local team roping. To stay in compliance with city, county and state recommendations due to COVID-19 we felt that postponing our event was inevitable. At a later date, our committee will reassess the situation and decide if we can hold our rodeo later this ...year.
