Heads up, please read this. There is no way to exit half track after the rebuild. The triple into turn 2 is set further back, the 2nd straight is wider, and the turn is fully formed, leaving no room to exit alongside the gate box like we used to. This will impact you in two ways: 1. Pedal bikes will not be permitted on the track during strider practice on race nights. This is typically a 15 min window just before racing. We used to run gates for 1/2 track during this time, but for reasons cited above, we can longer do that. 2. Pedal bikes will not be permitted on the track from 5-6 PM during Strider and Beginner practice on Thursday nights. If you're accustomed to showing up early to run half track, please understand that you will need to wait until 6 PM.
Oh and by the way, tomorrow Wednesday May 19 also happens to be our first race on the newly rebuilt track. All 4 straights were redone. Here’s a glimpse of Jackson Elliott hitting the new 2nd straight and clearing the triple into turn 2. Huge shout out to Matt Cravenho and River City Rentals for supplying all of the heavy equipment and Billy Allen from USABMX for putting it to good use building a National caliber track. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in helping us last week, please forgive us if we left out a name: Kent Elliott, Jackson Elliott, Nick Elliott, Rick Lowry, Cord and Charles Bierman, Chris Garrow, Wayne Riser, Cody and Tyler Scollay, Mike Beebe, Billy Back, Jim Nelson, Ryan Austin, Brian Hood, Louis Staley and Bryce Seidel, and Richard Spencer.
The Hoodie Series starts this week!! Don't be left out!! https://www.usabmx.com//bmx_presigns/local_presign_continue
Reminder that we are closed still due to the rebuild. We will reopen on Wednesday, May 19th for the kickoff of our Hoodie Series! See you there!
You can’t tell because of his helmet but 11 year old Cody Burger was stoked to get his final novice win and moving up to intermediate. Congrats Cody!
Although the track is currently under reconstruction and not running, the rider move ups aren’t stopping. 12 year old Carson Morill won his 10th novice race last weekend, officially making him our newest 12 inter. Nice job Carson!
Ask and you shall receive!!!!!

Happy Sunday Everybody! It’s the 1st which means ROTM time. Meet 43 year old Ryan Austin. This upcoming week will officially mark 1 year since he started racing. He started out on the sidelines watching his son Colton race and then eventually him and his wife Tara both decided they had to give it a try. Ryan rides a DK and reps a well known local team NARFT. 3 goals of his are to have fun with his family, get State 1 and eventually win ROC or Grands. Ryan looks up to his coach Rick Lowry, team manager Wayne Riser and Elite Pro Nic Long and he would like to thank Rick, Wayne and also Kaitlyn White for all their help along the way. And as you can see by the second photo, Ryan isn’t afraid to dress up and have a good time with his family and friends!

And so here it is! Special thanks to our friend Kent Elliott for everything he’s done to support Oak Creek and to promote this race. Thanks to USA BMX for jumping on this runaway car!
Just when we thought we were hitting peak interest in our upcoming double double weekend on Nov 7-8, it looks like USABMX will be on hand to promote the event and will be sending someone here to cover it. Maybe it’s 6k+ of winnings at stake over both days or the significance of some of the best veteran riders clashing in the 40 and Over?
