To me the Golden Light is shinning out of the chalice. As if the chalice is responsible for making the Golden Light. What does the chalice hold that make the glorious beams of Light? The Golden Light of purity, the Golden Light that sometimes is seen in Sacred Space The Golden Light that Symbolizes the prophets of the Creator. This Golden Light bursts out of the chalice filling all space above it. The contemplation of it brings a deep peace, and as I think of The beauty of the Golden Light I find a great depth of peace and Love. I drift into the peace and love and linger there, in my mind’s eye Surrounded by Golden Lightuntil I am called back to my room, And hear the wind softly chanting eeee...ooii August 10, 2019: Topic: Chalice Online, I learned that the Chalice was also called the Holy Grail by some Christians. Unitarian Universalism At the opening of Unitarian Universalist worship services, many congregations light a flame inside a chalice.[3] A flaming chalice is the most widely used symbol of Unitarianism and Unitarian Universalism (UU), and the official logo of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and other Unitarian and UU churches and societies.[4] The design was originated by the artist Hans Deutsch, who took his inspiration from the chalices of oil burned on ancient Greek and Roman altars. It became an underground symbol in occupied Europe during World War II for assistance to help Unitarians, Jews, and other people escape Nazi persecution.[5] The chalice is often shown surrounded by two linked rings. The two linked rings were used as an early symbol for the Unitarian Universalist Association, signifying the joining of Unitarianism and Universalism. There is no standardized interpretation of the flaming chalice symbol. In one interpretation, the chalice is a symbol of religious freedom from the impositions of doctrine by a hierarchy and openness to participation by all; the flame is interpreted as a memorial to those throughout history who sacrificed their lives for the cause of religious liberty. In another interpretation, the flaming chalice resembles a cross, symbolic of the Christian roots of Unitarian Universalism.[6] Rastafarian Main article: Chalice (pipe) Rastafaris sometimes smoke ganja in a chalice (waterpipe or bong) during an activity called reasoning intended to put participants in touch with peaceful feelings, unity, and "consciousness." After my brief study, I dimmed the lights and said my Opening for Jehovih to Bless our Meditations. Then I saw a wide-mouthed chalice with two rings or handles and it held oil with a small burning flame. Then I saw it turn and could see there were 4 ornate handles, for the Women tonight, from Three Countries in North America. One handle for Canada, one for Mid-America, one for the women from Westerner America, and one for Central America. As we all took hold of our handles, the Flame increased. Then I saw a line of light made by Jehovih's Angels behind each of the handles/faithist women rising upwards and the Bright Flame blended our Positive, Loving, Powerful Light with those above.....and then a flash forward to the future when the Flame merged to cover all of North America as there was to be no place for Darkness to hide, and All Enjoyed the Light.
