One of the many looks I styled for Mr. @gregoryportermusic for his newest release #allrise from @bluenoterecords often times wardrobe stylist get overlooked. I suppose thats the behind the scenes part. Our role is to make the celebrity look good. I’m proud of the work that I do. I’m confident that my years of experience and education provides a unique perspective. This look was pieced together from many items from Gregory’s collection. The brooch was part from an antique... bracelet that my mother gave me 30 years ago. The bracelet had been in pieces for years. I made a brooch for Gregory’s lapel a few days before the styling. The setting was the Ablin house by #franklloydwright a house I understand intimately. The setting plays a enormous role in the way I style - melding together my love of style and architecture. The Look Book I created for @nicole_ansari Nicole wanted something that was whimsical with a nod to old Hollywood glamour and femininity. We fell in love with @alduk_official soft pink and marine blue ruffled dress. The halter style and tulle gave us the effect we wanted when she was seated. The color played romantically with Brian’s ruby red velvet jacket.
