Tuesday Trivia: Former MLB catcher Moe Berg was a spy during WWII. In his biographical film, The Catcher Was a Spy: The Mysterious Life of Moe Berg (1994), Paul Rudd plays Moe. He declined accepting the Medal of Freedom from President Truman for his spy service and never explained why. A graduate of Princeton University and Columbia Law School, Berg was better known for being "the brainiest guy in baseball," rather than his baseball capabilities.
