National Engineers Week 2021 has begun! To celebrate all you engineers out there, we are offering engineers the chance to win a magnificent 1969-piece LEGO NASA Apollo Saturn V set, inspired by the first moon landing in 1969! We invite engineers to "like" this post on the NPI Services, Inc. LinkedIn page, and the winner will be chosen at random from the first 1969 that "like" our post during National Engineers Week 2021. The lucky winner gets a 1:110 scale model (over one me...ter tall!) of the NASA Apollo Saturn V, complete with engine details and separable rocket stages, lunar orbiter and lunar lander, three astronauts, and three stands for horizontal display. We would like to announce our 2020-2021 ARCS Scholar, Chloe Groome! Chloe has an extensive background, ranging from electrical engineering, particle physics and more. Brilliant! 'Mini-RF was truly an experimental space program built fast and lean, and designed to last two years,' said Wallis Laughrey, vice president of Space Systems at RI&S. The fact that it’s still supporting science missions 11 years later is a testament to its design and out-of-the-box thinking.' Researchers at John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, who run the day-to-day operations of Mini-RF, reconfigured it to operate in what’s called a bistatic mode."
