look’n like the Goonies meets Mad Max desert storm super hero squad at the top of Mission Peak protecting our beloved Bay! this @nowooriesamigohikingclub crew is proof that super heroes DO EXIST! couldn’t be more grateful for them and all they did helping collect so much trash from one of our most beloved trails here in the Bay Area. every group hike we host is special but this squad really stepped up and took ACTION in a big way as we celebrated Earth Day! ... THANK YOU AMIGOS REMINDER: EARTH DAY IS EVERY DAY! let’s all be super heroes and do our part to help protect mother TOGETHER! happy #nationalsuperheroday!

a very special bday shout out to one of our very own today Sarah Knebel! I can still remember the day she was born like it was yesterday! Can’t believe how grown up she is now, 24 and taking over the world one trail at a time! Happiest of Bdays cuz, we all love you very much!

EPIC day hiking Almaden Quicksilver County Park with some great company yesterday. Found a bone yard, explored a new part of the trail with a haunted cemetery and found some rad back drops for our new sticker releases! So much history, right here in our very own backyard! We absolutely LOVE seeing all of you out on your own RADventures FEEL’n GOOD! This weeks featured member and RADventurist is Hannah Gillette @hannahg716 she’s out there enjoying some good vibes by way of Baker Lake Deming, WA. and is sharing some of her personal tips and feels with all of us on this FEEL GOOD Friday! There is nothing that makes me feel more free than being outside and connecting with nature. I’m fortunate to have grown up in a state that is so abundant w...ith mountains, animals, and wilderness. Moving to a new place for college made me feel trapped and alone until I started to explore and adventure. I’m truly happiest when I have the time to get outside and take time to think about things in my life. It took time, especially as a woman to feel confident venturing into the realm of the outdoors. To every girl that enjoys being outside I would offer my advice of just getting out there, even if you are alone (please consider bear spray, and a knife). Whether it’s camping, hiking, or driving to the mountains, I find relief and comfort in being outside and disconnecting with the outer world. Thanks for sharing and helping us motivate others to get out there FEEL’n GOOD Hannah! The best things about the club? Our members! Featured Member Lacey Atkinson of San Jose, Ca. ... Lacey has been an epic addition to the club this year. She’s a professor, personal trainer and all around incredible outdoors woman! Pics from her latest RADventure in Death Valley! Lacey says.. Connecting with nature through hiking & backpacking, to me, is what life is all about. I feel most myself when I am surrounded by trees, disconnected from technology, and void of many modern conveniences. It is a place of clarity, healing, and wonder. Any kind of exploring is time well spent that deserves a big YEEEW, because we concur!
