Saturday, September 7th - Experience firsthand The Museum of The American Indian's educational and cultural activities at Novato's Miwok Park during their kotcha re-thatch, a demonstration of Native American shelter construction. Tule material that was previously gathered is applied onsite to a shelter framework in front of the Museum from 11- 5 pm. All are welcome. Free admission. The Museum's 2019 Native American Trade Feast is a not-to-missed event, with Dancing, Drum, Art & Craft vendors, delicious food and talking story.
